When did you start programming?
NewtonScript appears to be an older DSL.
I didn't start writing code until roughly 2011, had no real idea what I was doing until 2015.
- JohnFen 2y agoI first learned to program as a child in the late '70s, on mainframes. I first programmed professionally in the late '80s. I'm a graybeard. I've even used punched cards unironically! > had no real idea what I was doing until 2015. I still don't really know what I'm doing, but that's probably because I prefer taking on tasks that involve things I don't know how to do.
- 999900000999 2y agoI salute you. I don't think I would of had the drive to work with lower level languages back then. I actually tried C++ first, gave up and then found JavaScript.
