web components are great replacement for a bloated react framework.
- PaulHoule 2y agoFunny right now I am using web components closely w/ React, that is, I have a React application that we'd like our partners to embed on a page and I'm trying to isolate CSS from the application from the rest of the page so they can't mess each other up. Seems though with template/slot and such or even reconfiguring how people use JSX it oughta be possible to make a framework that looks superficially like React but doesn't use Virtual DOM or something which makes uncontrolled forms first class citizens.
