Nobody in the US government would use him as a channel for a leak anymore, because he is not considered to be reliable. He claimed that killing of Osama bin Laden 2011 was fabrication. Osama Bin Laden was actually held by Pakistani Intelligence service since 2006. His claims about Syria and chemical attacks have been disproved by independent sources. Nord Stream pipeline evidence points towards Ukraine, not towards the US as Hersh claims.
