- jonasdegendt 2y agoSeems to be enabled by default, or at least it was on my relatively recent account created in 2022.
- aftergibson 2y agoWasn't on mine (account created in 2009).
- account42 2y agoThis is for commits (including merges/rebases) made through the web interface. You don't need a GitHub setting for your local mail. And in any case you could just use a dedicated commit author address if you are that worried.
