Nice, recent, paper that explains exactly how Snowflake works and how Iran/Russia tried to block it.
I had a Raspberry Pi lying around and wanted to do something useful with it, so I set up a snowflake proxy. Works well. I could see multiple IPs from Iran connecting to it within the first hour of running it.
- croemer 2y agoJust checking who's connecting at the moment (via sniffnet, cool tool!), I see 2 Iranian IPs, 1 Chinese and 1 Russian. Each sent a few hundred kB through my proxy.
