Here's the answer why.
- JohnFen 2y agoAs is the fact that he went to great lengths, using dodgy statistics (with a tremendous air of egotism), just to convince himself that he's helpless.
- marssaxman 2y agoIf he were at all serious about this, I doubt he would have included "505 Unbelievably Stupid Web Pages" in his list of citations.
- marssaxman 2y agoThe sexism in that phrase does shine brightly in the glare of a quarter century's hindsight, but after reading the linked comment, I think we can safely solve the problem by moving the adjective: a "hysterical letter from a female reader" seems like a fair description.
