'Roaring Kitty' is sued for alleged GameStop manipulation
- reallymental 2y agoYou either die a hero or live long enough to get sued. Charming quip aside, he knew what he was doing. He knew what he was doing 4 years ago, and he does even more now.
- Mistletoe 2y agohttps://archive.is/9jUJJ https://archive.is/9jUJJ My opinion is he should have learned what enough is. He made enough money for many lifetimes. Coming back for more, like his livestream, was intensely stupid. Then he recently moved to Chewy. A larger target could not be painted on his back for an example to be made of.
- moralestapia 2y ago>He made enough money for many lifetimes. Did he already sell? Then the Chewy thing ... is that supossed to be bad? Is he doing anything illegal?
- pseudosaid 2y agonot doing anything illegal. if you watched his stream, he illustrates how the market is run by algorithms in realtime. Effectively shut down any claims that he is manipulating anything.
- stefanos82 2y agoIt has been already dismissed https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/1dt22iq/dfv_lawsuit_dismissed/ https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/1dt22iq/dfv_law...

- bdcravens 2y agoVoluntary, which means it can be reintroduced at a later point.
- simcop2387 2y agoThe key part isn't that it's voluntary but "without prejudice".
- chung8123 2y agoI don't understand what the manipulation here is. Has he sold his shares? It is not illegal to buy shares in a company and say you bought shares in the company as long as you are trading on public information.
- pedalpete 2y agoThe title has changed to 'Roaring Kitty' lawsuit over GameStop is withdrawn for now So the original post is no longer valid.
