There are a lot of people already on the H1B train scrambling to avoid leaving the country.
There are a lot of people who don't know how to write a resume.
There are a lot of people who will just spam everywhere without understanding what they're applying for. Hoping someone will bite.
Those resumes are often auto-rejected or quickly rejected. I may have 500 on the queue and know 450 will be a 30 second rejection - still takes forever and it's also demotivating here.
The best key I can say is to write the cover letter, and spend the 15 minutes to match what you do to what they ask for. Bold it if it's in the job description.
