Very artistic, but $6310 USD ?
- LargoLasskhyfv 2y agoIt's the mainboards, supersmall Pico-ITX, by itself always more expensive, from an 'industrial' supplier, even more so. Times 4. With not so cheap https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/platforms/details/tiger-lake-up3.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/platforms/d... Times 4. The remaining stuff are peanuts in comparison. I'd have lamented the cheap switch, but it seems the onboard LAN(s) can't do more anyways, so it doesn't really matter. No space/sockets for something faster either. Like low-profile Mellanox, or something like that. OTOH USB 3.2 Gen2, so at least 10Gbit, times 4, maybe there could be a small USB/Thunderbolt dock made to fit in... Slow RAM... Seems like the supplier and formfactor of the board doesn't support everything the CPU could, in spite of the high price. Looks nice, but technically mismatched, somehow.
