Yeah I have a framework 13 and by far my biggest complaint is the extreme heat it runs on by default. I know I will never be buying another framework laptop.

- ripply 2y agoMine overheats and throttles to 200MHz (yes… MHz), I no longer use it and I have to throttle the cpu in windows for it to be functional so it doesn’t overheat from web browsing and become nonfunctional.
- anotherhue 2y agoI haven't personally tried it but I understand that it shouldn't be too difficult to 'undervolt' it, possibly even from user space.
