One of the biggest upsets to the constitution and civil liberties now as we treat those who have gone into financial hardship the penalty of jail time as it is not cruel or unusual somehow. I don't see positive outcomes from this as states will now pick up the tab of hosting the homeless in prisons. We can only hope that Williams v. Illinois isn't overturned next, then you could see people being perpetually in jail for failing to pay fines they couldn't have ever afforded.
