Absolutely. I have 400 times more control over who my congressman is than who the president is.
- jliptzin 2y agoBut your congressman has less than 1/400 the power of the President.
- asdff 2y agoRealistically the president doesn't do all that much to affect the course of the country relative to congress.

- asdff 2y agoEven trump was on a tight leash with that and basically just carried the old torch like every president does. Oh I guess he had too much lunch with putin but its not like he took us out of NATO kind of like the conservatives in the UK did with the EU and brexit. A bunch of talk but the same old neoliberal walk we've been doing for decades.
