Anyone want to take a guess of the terminal velocity of a 737 Max?
- its_ethan 2y agoWay higher than 35 m/s... Using V = sqrt(2ma/pAC) you'd get: V = sqrt(2(80000 kg)(9.81 m/s^2)/((1.225 kg/m^3)(210 m^2)(0.03))) V = 451 m/s
- itishappy 2y agoAccording to this random Quora response: ~250m/s (mach 0.75). Note this assumes an aerodynamically favorable configuration (e.g. nose pointed down) which is not how planes are typically flown. https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-terminal-velocity-of-an-aircraft https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-terminal-velocity-of-an-ai...
