It's stunning to me how Apple managed to convert a multi-decade legacy of being "the cool" company into "feels like Big Tobacco".
And it's not like one can distance oneself from their PR games. As a developer, one has to go to App Store Connect almost daily and deal with App Store Review. It just doesn't bring joy any more.
