There’s also a trend of selling Amanita mushroom products in the US, which are generally considered more toxic than psychedelic (and thus the legality). From what I can tell, there are mild psychoactive effects and toxicity kicks in long before any real trip. I’ve been waiting for deaths from that when someone thinks they’re the same as psilocybin and they just need to take more to get the effects.
