I haven’t contributed code to it, but I’ve read lots of code in it ( for work reasons ) - I really like the golang compiler and library codebase. About codebases I’ve written code for, the best one strived for simplicity, and was driven by very strong engineers who actively considered code hygiene ( in the broadest possible sense ) a first class citizen.
