Sprints. I much prefer Kanban because it's just a list of priorities. You pick a task from the top and keep working, and the PMs keep the list sorted. I hate sprints. It really feels like they're forcing us to come up with rough deadlines for arbitrary work, then treat those deadlines like a contract. We're playing ourselves. I also hate all the ceremony around planning sprints. I'd much rather have a constantly sorted backlog and let the manager types focus on keeping the top tickets clear and actionable.
