This is clever and amusing as a proxy for late night Pentagon activity. Of course, now that it exists it'll likely become another alternate signaling pathway. By that I mean, when the military wants to signal to an adversary that "We're serious", instead of just raising the alert level they'll also have counter-intel staff placing an unusual level of orders for late-night pizza delivery.
