Just Your IP
- geocrasher 2y agoI made this because so many sites that you need to send people to, when you need their IP, are ad-laden messes. So this site is literally just your IP address, nothing more.
- colesantiago 2y agoThank you, bookmarked. I wish more sites were like this. Not today's websites which are a cognitive overload that makes fights for my attention.
- geocrasher 2y agoExactly, and thank you for the feedback!
- 0x6A75616E 2y agoIt's not just my IP.. There's a whole lot of HTML barf around it.
- geocrasher 2y agoI can do a "raw" version for IPv4 but not IPv6.
- wkstar 2y agoWhy can't it be done for IP 6?
- geocrasher 2y agoIt probably could be but not easily. My server is IPv4 only at the moment and so I am using a Cloudflare worker to get the IP's, and I need some kind of logic to present those to the browser through my site... I'm not much of a developer you see. I'd be open to suggestions for doing both.
- fragmede 2y agofwiw, ifconfig.me does user agent sniffing, so curl ifconfig.me just returns the IP address used to connect, while visiting with a browser will give a lot more information.
