My takeaway from this, along with other deaths I've witnessed, is that nothing you've accomplished in life matters after you die. I don't mean that it's hopeless, of course. Just that we should prioritize living life to the fullest rather than caring about what comes after. Those left behind will figure that shit out, whether you like it or not. Go have fun with friends and family, ain't nobody got time for the afterlife.
