GOG absolutely does offer native Linux games.
- KronisLV 2y agoTheir own launcher doesn’t seem to have a Linux version, only Windows and Mac: https://www.gog.com/galaxy https://www.gog.com/galaxy That’s why people seem to recommend Lutris or some other alternatives to access the actual library.
- ekianjo 2y agoyou have FOSS minigalaxy client as well as HeroicLauncher that support GOG too.
- lupusreal 2y agoThey have a launcher?? I've been buying games from them for years and didn't know that..
- Gormo 2y agoDifferent strokes, I guess. One of the main draws of buying games from GOG instead of Steam, for me, is the fact that I don't need an extra bit of superfluous software just to purchase and launch my games. I have a perfectly good application launcher already, which relies on standard .desktop files.
- Forbo 2y agoI recently started using the Heroic launcher for my GOG library and so far it's been working great. https://heroicgameslauncher.com/ https://heroicgameslauncher.com/
