Peer review didn’t make it as far as the second word in the abstract!
> Jupiter's Grat Red Spot (GRS) is the largest and longest-lived vortex of all solar system planets but its lifetime is debated…
If the author is reading: you also have a typo of “early” towards the end of the abstract.
Best wishes!
- andrewflnr 2y agoThe point of ArXiv is that it's not (necessarily) peer-reviewed.
- ricksunny 2y agoCorrect (besides the peer-review of public discourse). Arxiv does gatekeep a filter on who can post; IIRC generally one has to be affiliated with an academic institution or referred by one who is already allowed to publish in arxiv.
- glitchc 2y agoThe published version is fine, see here: https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2024GL108993 https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2024GL10... This seems to be a pre-print, likely shared because arXiv is open access.
- Freak_NL 2y agoIt makes you wonder if the glaring typos weren't introduced just to make the pre-print seem pre-print-y.

- Helmut10001 2y agoAt least you know with the typo that it wasn't generated by an LLM.
