Silicon Valley leaders declare DEI bad and meritocracy good - but they're wrong
- Grimeton 2y agoWhat's the quota, Kenneth?
- taylodl 2y agoEverything old is new again and even has a shiny new acronym!
- falleng0d 2y agoThe real reason DEI became such a toxic word is because it’s advocates are using it as justification to commit the same mistakes it ought to prevent. Just look at what happened to the movies industry. Disney and Marvel for example explicitly discriminate against whites and males. Instead of equal opportunity the only thing I see DEI advocates doing is targeted discrimination. If we are going to have people decide who to discriminate against let’s end this all together and just focus on skills. It’s a fair compromise
- corinroyal 2y agoCongratulations on successfully parroting some of the racist propaganda you've been exposed to. Somebody paid good money for that.
- falleng0d 2y agoCare to elaborate your point? In this kind of topic there is always propaganda on both sides. Pointing the obvious is not contributing to the conversation in any way.
