Do you generally expect anyone to be able to create a drawing/painting of anything in their visual field? Just because I'm staring at the grand canyon doesn't mean I can put it to paper. That takes extensive practice and skill.
- layer8 2y agoI‘m saying you should be able to do it as well as if it were in your actual visual field. Which might be very badly, depending on talent and experience, but not worse. And I was asking a question, if this is your actual experience. Because while I can visualize and rotate and transform objects in my mind, it’s not comparable to actually seeing them, and it doesn’t translate to being able to draw/paint them as well as if they were in front of me, by far.
