One red flag is when the author considers the following as a positive change: - The Big Specific DAO has a SQL statement that joins all of the data. The SQL query had more than 100 lines! shudders Another red flag is the first paragraph itself. Mentioning TDD in the context of patterns which somehow affect performance.
