US Olympic and other teams will "TAKE" their own AC units to Paris
NOT bring!
I love good grammer and good speling.
The basic principles for using bring and take are pretty clear.
BRING:
Bring is the “close” partner in the pair, associated with coming to a destination where the speaker (or listener) is located: Bring that here.
Bring me some cookies. (I am the destination for those cookies. It doesn’t matter where you started.)
bring your handbag
Bring something, Bring anything.
TAKE:
Take is the “far” partner, associated with going away from a starting point where the speaker (or listener) is located: Take that there.
Take my plate back into the kitchen. (You’re leaving from here to go to the kitchen.)
Take my car to the garage, not - Bring my car to the garage
Take my wife out for a meal, not - Bring my wife out for a meal
