As mentioned in the article, this doesn't handle the case of buffer bloat: packets all eventually arrive rather than being dropped, but increasingly late, and only backing off can help reduce the latency.
- eru 2y agoDoes UDP suffer from buffer bloat? I thought it was only TCP? Oh, it looks like UDP packages are also buffered? Update: it looks like I learned something new today. UDP can also suffer from bufferbloat. (I thought UDP was done without buffers for some reason..)
