But if disabled workers are less productive shouldn't we expect that?
- cylemons 2y agoThe problem isn't that disabled people are less productive, but that they aren't even given a chance to demonstrate how productive they are or how their skills might be useful. Besides, companies don't always hire the most productive people. Otherwise, no fresh graduate would ever be able to get a job.
- faeriechangling 2y agoDepends on the disability. ChatGPT was discriminating against autistics. Maybe they’re plausibly less productive in specific fields but the reason they’re not hired in many fields is not because they’re less productive. It’s because they are less popular.
