The problem is that we shut down a working reactor few years ago for political reasons and that we didn't build more for several decades. When NREs fail to provide enough electricity we don't get a news article, because otherwise it would be the headline almost every day. 2022 and 2023 were a bad time because of delayed COVID maintenance + issue detected of several reactors + heat. This was after decades of no problem. The summer heat is here to stay and get worse so it should be taken into account when building new reactors.
