I stopped watching at the point where the amount of bacteria on the dishes is the concern. I am not convinced that it is important to sanitize dishes for family use. Maybe, maybe with guests and if someone is sick.
My understanding is that our immune systems need something to do or they start to stir up trouble. It's important to walk barefoot outside, to dig in the dirt, to eat foraged greens, to hunt, kill, and butcher your own meat (etc), and I don't insist on sanitizing any of these activities.
I do get all the available vaccines and I do use hand sanitizer at medical facilities, both because there are people who are more vulnerable than me and I'm willing to help reduce transmission risk.
House dishes, though? I lean towards using fewer dishes, often I use the same bowl for my meal every day (and some prep bowls, which are easily rinsed) and wash it after using it, while it's still wet.
Not being the only one in my house, though, we have a modern, ~efficient, quiet dishwasher despite my protestations about embodied energy and the space it takes up.
