AFAIK ASAN does not catch uninitialized variables, MSAN does. MSAN is significantly harder to set up.

AFAIK ASAN does not catch uninitialized variables, MSAN does. MSAN is significantly harder to set up.
- JonChesterfield 2y agoBranch on uninit lights up beautifully in valgrind which has no set up, just run valgrind ./a.out
- leni536 2y agoGood point, although sometimes valgrind is too slow.
