Rewilding sounds great. I find North American obsession with manicured lawns quite bizarre, especially in states with water availability issues.

- voisin 2y agoI think it is inextricably linked in the boomer mind to “success” and “honor”. Likely growing up in the 50s and 60s where their parents felt pride in suburban home ownership. Among young people, I do not see anywhere near the obsession with manicured lawns (in general, obviously). Whenever I see someone out spraying dandelions with a cancer causing chemical, it is always a white haired person.
