Is it possible that we’re actually constantly oscillating in time, but we never notice because all of us, our atoms all go back in the same order they moved forward, so even our brain’s chemical processes and memories go back exactly the same (ie. We forget when we go back and remember when we move forward), thus keeping everything consistent so that the only record we have is moving forward? As a crude example, if movie characters were conscious, would they experience being rewinded?
