Because according to these laws, it's criminal even if a child takes their own picture, even if they don't distribute it.
- aktenlage 2y agoYep. It's the possession of "CSAM" that is illegal.
- dinglestepup 2y agoThat's pretty absurd. Instead of lowering the classification of this crime they could have introduced reasonable exceptions, like excluding one's own photos.
