I’m curious how well the payments system will go, previous anti-woke business efforts have failed, It’s a strange marketing tactic “banking that’s not woke”
But alongside that, do I really need a banking system that’s only available to an increasingly polarized(read: limited) X base? Seems like there would have to be some forcing function like a high profile business like Amazon or Apple exclusively using it, or some other like magic AI automatic payments feature or something that was much better than the sales pitch I’m making here.
- halJordan 2y agoThe whole anti-woke thing is not the end goal, although it might be a convenient in, or a convenient pr bullet. The goal has always been to replicate the success of wechat and qq.
- techostritch 2y ago“We either defeat the woke mind virus or nothing else matters” doesn’t seem like not the end goal, unless Musks words aren’t to be taken seriously.
