Upcoming Changes to Audio Formats
- Bluestein 2y agoThis might be just an anecdote, but the 360 Audio they are sunsetting here -was- a thing, and - while not "groundbreaking" - it was a nice-to-have ... (Came "bundled" with recent Sony headphones, and it is kind of sad to see it go. Low traction, proprietary format maybe, or broken deal with Sony. Who knows ...)
- unnervingduck 2y agoMQA going away is probably a good thing, I never saw the appeal. Proprietary, requires licensing fees, why would you use it over the free and lossless FLAC?
