- jldugger 2y agoAnnual Rainfall per square inch seems like a relevant factor though.
- jon_richards 2y agoTexas averages 36 inches of rain and 2 inches of snow each year. Ohio gets 40 inches of rain and 28 inches of snow.

- gottorf 2y ago"Averages" is doing heavy lifting in GP's statement. It's a vast state, after all, and how meaningful is an average between the climates of Houston and El Paso?
- wyldfire 2y agoWhere is "there"? Texas is a fairly large state, spanning ~11 degrees of latitude. The climate in Houston differs from that in Arlington, for example.
