>You don't know shit about me and you should not assume like this.
I do know that you have a luxury belief [0].
>I was 8 the first time I slept on the street
I was 4.
>I was 15 the last time an adult provided a meal for as a minor
I was cooking for my siblings at that age.
>I was 45 the first year I earned more than $22k despite working full time for most of it.
I made more than that roofing in my teens.
>I don't know what it's like to be college poor like that, no.
Imagine being poor, saddle yourself with insane amounts of debt, take 8 hours out of every day, but you still have to work the same. It's harder than being regular poor.
>None of my family or anyone I knew from my youth ever went, I didn't even presume to hope for it.
Same.
>And enough people have told me that they do, and I don't see how I have authority to tell them they're incorrect about their own experiences.
Some things in life are objectively not difficult. People who complain about the difficulties of providing basic sustenance are weak and pampered.
>That last doesn't seem like a limitation you face, however.
You come across as someone who isn't capable of questioning weak-minded opinions. Not shocked.
