Living the dream

  Take your 500k of investments, move to the mid-west, retire for a few years and figure out 'it was not the dream'. I did something like this, it was life changing. For the first time ever, I wasnt counting the days until retirement or a long 7+ day vacation. (Edit for clarity: I ended up taking a job. Talented coworkers were more interesting than my hobbies + I contributed to the world which was cool. Made it so I didn't really want to retire, I actually enjoyed work.)
