Like the sibling comment says, you typically have to pay for the premium model (and believe me, they are miles ahead of the free stuff - free copilot uses gpt3.5 which is a full 2 generations behind). The other way is to get an API key from OpenAI or Anthropic and then, you can pay per token which is incredibly cheap - load it up with $5 and it can easily last you months if you're not using it much. As a dev, I cannot recommend these better models enough. The ROI on my $10-$20 that I spend every month is easily in hundreds to thousands of dollars.
