I'll be the outlier here: if the AVP were $1500, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and use it for most of the day at work. The "work on a big screen floating in front of you" experience is excellent, and I say that comparing it to working on a big screen in Quest 2, which I've done for hours at a time. In addition, media is super compelling in AVP. I'd watch movies in it, facetime with it, etc. etc. If the "cheaper model" is $1500 and all they lose is, say, the external screens, I'd grab it up.
