I don't understand why wouldn't google package their TPUs into some servers and sell it to consumers to grab big piece of this cake..
- rubiquity 2y agoLike eating a piece of cake this too is a very short lived feeling of satisfaction. In the long term the money is never in hardware, it's what you do with the hardware.
- riku_iki 2y agoIn this case hardware is significant bottleneck: LLMs need lots of compute to strive.
- xnx 2y agoIf you can only make so many shovels, why sell the shovel, when you can rent it out?
