'Wall Street wants' is a non-sequitur and is simply jargon for 'Billionaires want'.
And the article itself is worse. It talks about the 'problem' being employers not wanting to hire 70 year old workers when while never addressing the actual issue:
Billionaires doing everything possible to avoid taxes on their wealth including this article's implied suggestion to eliminate the concept of retirement and normalize the idea of working for wages forever.
As an aside, is it any surprise the federal tax system is based upon income rather than assets? The one thing billionaires do not have (and can control) is income. So they don't pay federal taxes. Indeed, when they need cash - which would presumably force them to sell assets and incur income - they instead 'borrow' the money they need at close to zero interest (from banks they control and, in many instances, private banks they own).
