  Hows that fantasy working out for you? Where is the evidence? Meritocracy is a capitalist belief system and is essential to resolving cognitive dissonance: It lets the "have it all" winners feel morally justified in stepping over the "have not" losers.

  Are all the companies doing blind interviews? Pretty sure it'll just be in-group hiring and calling that meritocracy. When people who look like me get jobs it's meritocracy, when it's others it's not.
