Taxes people the answer is taxes. Drop the income tax paid when you are married with two kids. Make employers give more time off for people with kids. Basically if you financially incentivize it you will get it.
- ein0p 2y agoI’ve read they already offer rather steep tax incentives. I think what they actually need are higher wages, so one of the parents wouldn’t have to work for a few years, or at all. And that’s easier said than done, especially with their current economy
- mensetmanusman 2y agoOpportunity cost alone means women are paying nearly a quarter million in lost salary and promotion earnings. Only competing with the right number of zeros in the incentive will fix this.
- jesterson 2y agoCan you name one country that did that and reached the goal? I'll give you a hint - there is none. It certainly seems that easy from layman perspective, but reality is way more complex.
