Ask HN: What Happened to HNBadges.netlify.app?

What happened to HN badges? Is it broken by accident or was it shut down intentionally? Not everybody might be familiar with HN Badges. It is/was a 3rd party service that showed badges for every user (e.g. https://hnbadges.netlify.app/?user=_Microft) that depended on how many karma a user had, the karma/comment ratio, whether they had an internet address in their user profile, and much more.
