Depends on the environment, design and usage. Asp on windows on oversized vm costs more than a small linux vm where less than 10 people access a lightweight applicatiin that doesn't even need a database.
- BForce 2y agotrue, but would there be a difference if it's ASP.Net Core on Linux vs NodeJS on Linux both using a DB?
- neonsunset 2y agoThere would be. If all the application does is 0.2 RPS then it might be marginal, otherwise the cost difference caused by CPU and RAM is likely to be substantially in favour of ASP.NET Core.
