Yeah. But wouldn’t the places where 99.8% of people would publish their pictures count as social media anyway?
Of course, it’s still useful for the remaining 0.2% of us (I’m one of them!) that self-host websites to be careful with the meta data in our photos just as you are rightfully pointing out.
