FreeBSD 14.1 vs. DragonFlyBSD 6.4 vs. NetBSD 10 vs. Linux Benchmarks
- jauntywundrkind 2y agoHonestly shocked how many (micro) benchmarks FreeBSD is just vastly far ahead on. Would be lovely to see something more end to end, like webserver or database tests. I don't think there was any io testing, and only the very smallest bit of network socket testing.
- CoolCold 2y agoFreeBSD is performing very well, kudos for such a small team delivering such great results! Would be interesting to see ClearLinux compared too, especially on those tests where *BSD families are million miles ahead of Linux Kernel
