How A.I. Is Revolutionizing Drug Development
- fallingknife 2y agoThis could be a great use of gen AI. It's great for anything where the pattern is the rule itself. e.g. it can generate perfect English grammar, but struggles with what is true or not outside of that context. Molecular interactions are more similar to grammar.

- fabian2k 2y agoThere are probably some parts of drug development where AI tools could be helpful. But I don't see how they could help with the actual limiting factor in drug development right now. Designing potential drugs is nice an all, but the thing that would make drug develompent more effective would be predicting if those drugs will make it through phase III of the clinical trials.
